Can you share hotel suggestions for Vienna. We are three adults, visiting mid-Sept.
Our requirements :
- clean, reasonably priced, 3 star hotel
- breakfast included
- central location .. or close to public transport .. so we can walk to most places.
I see 'Hotel Graf Stadion' available -- if you have stayed there, would welcome your feedback

I’ve stayed at Hotel Austria twice. LOVE it. They have rooms for 3+ people. Nice, reasonably priced property. Beautiful rooms. Best hotel breakfast buffet, ever! Great location
Check out Pension Suzanne. I stayed there four nights in June in a single room. But on their website they have a family apartment that may suit your needs. It’s literally around the corner from the Opera House, a block from subway and tram and walking distance to many sights.

techtrainer61 - It would be very helpful to have your exact dates/price range and then I can search availability and make recommendations. I have never heard of Hotel Graf Stadion, but the location is good. There are probably better options.

This looks good -- bit pricey ($1,264 for 4 nights), but it is a 4 star hotel and
looks very conveniently located.
Graf Stadion is $696 for the same - it is a 3 star hotel.
Any other feedback welcome.

Again out of courtesy to our internet hosts, did you look at Rick's suggested hotels?
phred, most of Rick's selected hotels are booked up months ahead of time. I usually don't even try for those unless I am booking very early.
And I don't think anyone here has an obligation to look at his recommended hotels (although they obviously do, as evidenced by my first sentence). Most members of this forum support Rick in many ways. For example, buying his products, taking his tours and spreading his name to other travelers and so on. I'm not sure why you would even suggest that we owe him something.
