Vienna Public Housing Tours?

Hi,
Thinking about a week in Vienna in late March. I'm intrigued by what I've read about their low rates of homelessness and progressive public housing program. Does anyone know whether any of the housing projects accept tourists and offer education programs? If you are curious, this was an article in the NYTImes Magazine from May 23, 2023 called "Imagine a Renters Utopia. It Might Look Like Vienna."

Thanks!

I had hoped to see the Karl Marx Hof while I was in Vienna last year, but I didn't have enough time despite 17 days in the city. I see from the NY Times article that the information on site is only in German; that would have been disappointing.

All I can offer is that I encountered some information about Red Vienna in at least one museum. I went to many museums, so I'm not absolutely sure, but I think it was at the Wien Museum on Karlsplatz. That's quite a good museum. It even has some art, including at least one Klimt.

I don't know, sorry. But I hope the following information will give you hints where to inquire.

This exhibition is a must for everybody interested in Vienna's legendary public housing program about 100 years ago:

Every Sunday (at 1pm) there is a guided tour through Karl-Marx-Hof which ends at the exhibition mentioned before. But it is in German, though.

You could also ask here whether a tour for you can be provided during your stay.
