Just arrived at the Vienna hotel we stayed at twice before. It has changed. Often mentioned here, we were a fan. Got here to discover they no longer offer breakfast (for a fee). We lived their breakfast. Got to our postage stamp sized room. You have a short step to enter the bathroom, the another short step to get to the toilet. I know I’ll trip on this tonight
Anyone have a suggestion for a decent stay for 3 adults at around 250-300 € p/n?
You might do well to head to booking dot com to see what you can find that is actually available, if you want something fast. I see several options looking for 2 nights starting tomorrow.
Nothing worse than an uncomfortable hotel room. Two comfortable ones that have vacancies include Vienna’s oldest hotel—the Hotel Stefanie—which is well-rated and offers free breakfast. Also, the Hotel Marc Aurel is fine.

Excellent breakfast, very good connection to public tranport.
We will stay here. They are changing our room tomorrow. Still no breakfast. But I’m certain we will find breakfast somewhere near the Opera House.
