Please be more specific. Which train station are we talking about?

Hi Emily talking about the main train station

There are two major train stations in Vienna - the Westbahnhof and the Hauptbahnhof. Which one?

I would add that the areas around these stations are not very nice. I would highly recommend that you consider taking you and your luggage to a better neighborhood for a more enjoyable stay.

I can recommend the Motel One Vienna/Wien Staatsoper, which is new, very central and impeccable. Also the train station Hauptbahnhof is not far away. Hi Bernie, with Vienna's efficient subway system, you can expand your choices and still be a few minutes from the train station. We stayed across the street from St. Stephen's Cathedral, and it was extremely convenient to arrive by train and leave heading to the airport.

We stayed in Pension Nosek right on Graben. Very nice and you cannot be possibly more central. Easy to get to train station by metro.
