Okay, so this is my second request - a non-tourist trap restaurant for our 34th Anniversary Dinner. Price is not really a factor, but would like a more out of the way place and romantic. May have to be Sat or Sun due to plans already made.

In Vienna a lot of restaurants are closed on weekends. I have chosen only ones operating on Saturday or/and Sunday. Reservation of a table is a must, tell them about your anniversary celebration. Make sure to check the exact opening times, e.g., some closing early on Sundays.

thomstewart61, it always works LOL
Mr. É, we don't sit all day in front of the PC screen waiting to help. :-)
thomstewart61, it has been several years, but one of my most enjoyable dining experiences as at the OPUS gourmet restaurant in the Imperial Hotel. I like nice dining experiences, and I dined in some very fine restaurants, and this was near the top. For some reason it is "temporarily" closed. I hope this doesn’t become permanent. If your visit to Vienna is in the future It would be worth checking on it.
So, other than bumping your post back to the top to help get some more answers I am not much help. Ohhh, and I do this for my own benefit too, cause I will be back in Vienna this year and the forum needs a good list of the better places to dine.
