My wife and I are flying into Vienna and immediately heading to Prague on the train. I'm trying to book a train reservation. How long will it take from our airplane arrival time (10:50 AM) to get to the Meidling Station for a train departure. Also, what mode of transport from the airport to the train station should we use -taxi, bus, other?

There are trains every 15 minutes to Vienna Rennweg station where you change to a train to Vienna Meidling. Trip takes 40 minutes.

There are trains every fifteen minutes, but they are alternately the standard S7 train and the high-priced rip-off City Airport Train. As well as being much more expensive the latter does not stop at Rennweg.

Philip is exactly correct. Rennweg is my station and trains from the airport only come every 30 minutes.
The train would require a change as well which is a hassle.
The bus is direct, but for two people not much less than a taxi.
My personal recommendation is to take a prebooked taxi from red cab or airport driver for 29 Euro.
