What is the preferred method for getting transportation from the airport to a hotel in Vienna? We are staying at the Hilton.

I took the CAT train, goes to Wien Mitte station and then I transferred to the metro for a short trip to my hotel. There's also the S-bahn for less than half the cost of the CAT train, approx 12 euro vs 5, but they have it set up so the CAT train is much easier to find. When I arrived I was beyond exhausted from a delayed flight and just wanted to get to my hotel so I didn't want to mess around looking for the S-bahn--next time I will!
Check out the Vienna airport website, http://www.viennaairport.com/en/passengers/arrival__parking/s-bahn__suburban_railway detailed info on transit options to/from the city. Their metro is wonderfully efficient, just figure out which stop is closest to your hotel and you're set.

Your hotel is located at Landstrasse-Wien Mitte.
Best way is the S7 train and you exit the train at Landstrasse-Wien Mitte. Your hotel is right there, no need to take the U-bahn. Costs 4.40 Euro per person. If you follow the signs for the train, it is easy to find.
CAT is overpriced.
