Using the Combi-ticket (Summer Dreams) from Salzburg to Hallstatt

Hi,
I'll be traveling to Salzburg at the end of August and have an overnight excursion planned to visit Hallstatt. In looking at the travel options, I've decided to go by train (I'm traveling alone). I've seen advertisements (as well as forum posts) for the combi-ticket (summer dreams) which is purchased through the ÖBB website. From what I've read, it includes roundtrip fare for the train to and and from Salzburg, the Ferry fare across lake Halstatt and the salt mine tour.

I have 2 questions:

  1. Does anyone know what the procedure is in getting the actual train tickets to and from Hallstatt? When you collect them at the train station, will you be able to print out both train tickets? And are you at least guaranteed a seat on the train? I've never been there before so I don't want to run the risk of there not being room on a train or not being able to get one of my train tickets.

  2. How do you gain access to the salt mine tour and funicular (and ferry) with these tickets? Do you just have to show your train ticket at the entrance to get into the mine/ on the ferry / on the funicular?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Looking at the webpage for the Sommerträume ticket, it just says 2nd class rail to Hallstatt. The offer does not specify whether you can take express or regional trains, so I assume you can use an express train where possible, which would be Salzburg to Attnang-Puchheim (IC). Reservations on this part are possible, but not mandatory, so I don't think the offer includes a seat reservation. Only regional trains go from Attnang-Puchheim to Hallstatt, and they don't have reservable seats.

I just went part way through a trial booking and it asked if I wanted a seat reservation for 3€, but that was only for the train to A-P. Presumably there would be another 3€ for the train back to Salzburg.
