Treasury - Time Needed

My parents are extremely limited on time. About how long is a typical visit to the Imperial Treasury?

It seems to me we spent about an hour going through it - not real fast but not real slow either

It depends on how long you stand drooling over the Emerald Unction Vessel . Made of a 2700 carat Emerald ( the size of a softball ) , enameled gold , made in Prague in 1641 . Who said the Habsburgs didn't have anything on the Romanovs ?

"Who said the Habsburgs didn't have anything on the Romanovs?" A great and compelling history question. The two dynasties as allies have one thing in common, their armies were both destroyed at Austerlitz by Napoleon.

Thanks, everyone. I'll tell them to expect about an hour to an hour and a half or so. While I may spend half an hour drooling over the emerald, I doubt they'll be as intense.

I took somewhere around 90 minutes to two hours. There are a lot of rather uninteresting heralds' robes on show. If you are seriously interested in holy relics, take longer.
