Travel Pass in Austria?

Is there a travel pass, similar to the Swiss Travel Pass, that cuts down on the prices of bus and train tickets?
Spending 4 nights in Austria (Vienna and Salzburg) then heading to Switzerland. Already bought ticket from Salzburg to Buchs.
Or is it best just to buy tickets as needed. Have a family of 5.

Thanks.

ÖBB Einfach-Raus-Ticket

Not valid for express trains (RJ, IC, ICE).

For long distances there are cheap bargain tickets ("Sparschiene") for express trains available: only via Internet, well in advance, bound to the chosen train.

You must do the math what offering is better for your group.

There's also a Eurail Austria pass to cover trains on three or more travel days, but you've already paid for your longest train trip, so it's too late for that. No other country has a comprehensive, all-transport pass like the Swiss Travel Pass. Various local authorities and private companies tend to run transport beyond the national railway.

Einfach-Raus tickets can be purchased day of travel at the train station counter (or machine if your card works). There is no advanced purchase price advantage for the Einfach-Raus.
