Travel by train on Sunday

Is there any problem going from Budapest to Vienna by train on Sunday morning?
I'm asking because sometimes on a holiday or Sunday travel can get complicated.
I'm making hotel reservations and if it seems like a problem (fewer trains, no taxis ...who knows?)
I will leave Saturday night.

Go to:
http://www.oebb.at/en/

Enter your dates (unless they are way in the future) and you will get the schedules. I think Sunday travel is no problem at all.

Since you are going Budapest to Vienna I think you would do better checking the MAV site http://elvira.mav-start.hu/

Actually, the slow day with the most closed around town (makes no difference on trains, hotel rooms or taxis though) are Monday's which is why all other things being equal I travel on Monday's if I can.

Thank you Alex and James....both sites worked great. Now I feel confident that we can travel either day and at convenient times. I appreciate your input.

Hi,

Taking the Budapest-Vienna on a Sunday morning, no problem at all. I've done it, r/t from Vienna to Budapest.

Train service on Sundays is not much reduced in Europe versus other days (unlike long-distance bus service). Sometimes, the first commuter-favorite departure of the day doesn't run, but that's reflected in the real, confirmed schedules that you find online.
