Anyone has this experience? Would like to do the most minimal changes, I went to deBahn site but could not get a price to pop up?
Nancy, do you mean Salzburg? Spelling is critical on those websites.
You should use the website of SBB, Swiss national rail service:
http://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html
There are direct service trains several times each day.
In addition to spelling Salzburg correctly, other posts here indicate that you should spell the other city as Zuerich. Spelling it "Zurich" gets the airport station, not the main city station.
Also, be sure to pay attention to the -burg and -berg. A Burg is a fortification; a Berg is a mountain, hill, high point. The town of Salzburg is named for the fortress on the hill overlooking the town. Nearby, in Germany, is Salzberg, named for the mountain with a salt mine.
The DB website has what I call an ignorance algorithm, which, when there is no town with that spelling, tries to figure out what you might mean and gives you a pop-down list of choices, but since there are Salzbergs, it can't help you.
