I am staying at Hotel-Pension Wild Lange Gasse 10 A-1080 Wien in Vienna, Austria in Sept. I would like to book my rail ticket to (Vienna to Innsbruck) before I leave home in the states. I am a bit confused with the many options of various websites to use for booking the train travel. Suggestions? Also, which station would be the most convenient to leave from in Vienna?

www.oebb.at. Since they run the trains, that is the go-to place to buy tickets. The direct Railjet trains depart from the Westbahnhof (among others) which is close by your hotel,

Wien is German for Vienna, it is not "in Vienna". Wien is what the city is actually called.
Best place to book is the ÖBB (Austrian Railways) website: www.oebb.at
You don't need to know which is the best station, just put in "From: WIEN" and "to: Innsbruck", plus date and time, and it will show which is the correct station (usually Wien Westbahnhof for trains to Innsbruck).

Unless reservations are required on that train, and I don't think they are, they will sold separately. Considering the length of the trip, I would definitely recommend it. You probably won't need one, but it's cheap (3,50€) insurance against standing for hours.
