Train from Venice to Salzburg

We are traveling from Venice to Salzburg on the 6th of May via train. When I'm trying to book tickets online (omio, trainline), I see a train option 10 am - 4 pm with 1 stop till the 4th of May but don't see it starting 5th of May. All other options are much longer and have more stops. Had been waiting for this to open up but now I'm not so sure. Would be very helpful if anyone could suggest if these trains open up later or is there a chance this train has been cancelled? Thanks in advance!

Take the 9:56 with one change of trains

Note that because of repair works the Tauern tunnel through the alps is closed. To pass this section you will have to change to a bus (SEV - rail replacement service) for a ride of about 45 minutes, and then back to train.

There is also another connection with really one train change, but the travel time is about two hours longer.

The only direct train between Venice and Salzburg is a NightJet (NJ), leaving Venice in the evening, but arrives in Salzburg in the wee hours (3am).

Edit: It is not the tunnel closure which requires the train replacement service, but track repairs along this 110-years-old mountain railway. The real traffic havoc will start in November 2024, when the Tauern tunnel will be closed for about 7 months for a major refurbishment after more than 100 years of operation.

Given that info, you might think about going by way of Verona and Innsbruck, departing on the fast regional train at 9;10, with train changes at Verona and Innsbruck, taking exactly the same travel time as the itinerary with the train replacement bus.
Just your bad luck that your chosen travel day is during a 3-day tunnel maintenance closure.
