Hello-I have two questions about tipping in Austria.
My mother and I are doing a full-day tour with Bob's Tours. What would you recommend for a gratuity? Should there be a separate gratuity for the driver AND the guide?
We are also doing a 2 hour cooking class in Salzburg (apple strudel and Christmas cookies-YUM!). Do you have a recommendation for a tip for that activity?
I want to be appropriate, but not over-tip or be stingy. Thanks for any advice that you could give!
When we took a Bob’s tour the driver was also the guide. We tipped, but I don’t remember how much. Not as much as we might in the U.S.
We took a cooking class in Italy some years ago and I don’t believe we tipped.
