I wanted to see if anyone has had any recent experience driving over the Timmelsjoch from Ötztal into Italy. How good is the road on the italian side? Checking out Google maps, it doesn't look as developed (read decent road) as on the Austrian side? How many cyclists and insane motorcyclists? We've driven over many passes in the alps comfortably but found dodging motorcyclists and road cyclists on the Stelvio Pass less than fun. Wondering if we're in for the same experience on the Timmelsjoch? Has anyone driven both?
