Tickets to Vienna Philharmonic Concert

Hi Everyone!
My husband and I are in the midst of planning for a trip next June, 2023. We are seriously considering doing the RS Best of Eastern Europe Tour starting June 18, with some time beforehand on our own in Vienna. We are interested in the possibility of seeing the Vienna Philharmonic in concert. We've learned that tickets are generally only available to season ticket subscribers. But it looks like there is a concert on June 17, 2023 called the 10th Subscription Concert, and 'returned' subscriber tickets will be available starting June 12, 2023.

This concert would line up with our itinerary perfectly (we could take the train to Prague the next day to start the RS Tour), but I'm wondering how fast these tickets usually sell out-has anyone had experience doing this? Are they gone quickly in minutes or hours? Is it better to try to get them online, or is calling better? Is it possible to choose seats, or are you assigned what's available? Just trying to temper our expectations...we would be traveling to Vienna regardless, but this seems like a great opportunity.

Getting the tickets online from the posted start date will work well . Hearing a concert at The Musikverein is an incomparable experience and the program you have listed, all Richard Strauss works , will be particularly enjoyable. The hall's acoustics lend themselves perfectly to the intricacies in the orchestrations for which Strauss is revered . Don't worry too much about the location of the seats , wherever you sit , the music will be perfect

I do not know whether this is meant literally. But just to be sure, first I would try to get tickets online at 12am June 12, 2023 (Central European Daylight Saving Time).

Thanks for the feedback!
It looks like the tickets go on sale at 9:30 am Vienna time, so I guess that means my husband will be ready at the computer at 3:30 am EST;)
Certainly seems like it’s worth a try! I now see that the returned tickets are released like this for most concerts, so perhaps we’ll follow along with a couple of the earlier dates and see how fast the tickets sell out. That might at least give an idea of our chances.
