Anybody know a lot about Austrian therme spas? My wife would like to go to one near Berchtesgaden/Salzburg. Trying to find one catered more to adults looking for relaxation and not families with kids etc. Any suggestions?

I think it can vary, but most Therme I have been in (Freudenstadt, Bad Herrenalb, Bad Wildbad) have a family friendly area with a pool for kids and an adult area (i.e. clothing free) with saunas and hot pools for grownups.

Bad Ischl, near Salzburg, is a spa town the Austrian royals spent much time in. It's a pretty area.

You need to specify which area of Austria you are planning to visit for getting specific recommendations.

I'll be staying near Innsbruck for half the trip and Berchtesgaden for the other half.
