Tent/Sleeping pad/bag for Austrian MotoGP in August

I don’t think this is common here and especially out in the middle of nowhere where the track is located. Maybe consider buying equipment at Decathlon in Vienna and donating it when you leave.

For the F1 races at the Red Bull Ring vendors come in and rent full camping set-ups. It does not appear that they do the same for the MotoGP.

I very much appreciate both insightful responses to my question on camping gear for upcoming MotoGP Austria in August! Thank you . I’m up for adventure (even at my age). And will go for the camping way to attend the 3 days of racing. I know I’ll make friends along the way!

I know this is alot more money, but I have looked into renting a small RV to attend F1 races at the somewhat remote tracks in Austria and Belgium. Still less than a nearby hotel and significantly more comfortable than a pad on the ground.

I’ll enjoy race even should Marquez takes the win!

For making races in the future, I will at least checkout the small RV way of going. I’m a bit old for the tent scene. But you do get to meet/mingle with some fun die hard race fans.
