Hello:
I was hoping to go to a symphony (full symphony, not parts) but it seems that mostly it is a smorgasbord of pieces from various composers. I am sure they can also be great. But I am wondering why I am not also seeing full symphonies available.

At The Musikverein , 10/22 ; 10/23 Frankfurt Radio Symphony - two different programs of Russian composers ( Rachmaninoff , Scriabin , Prokofiev )

Thanks and apologies. I should have mentioned I am flying out on the 18th. But I will look at the Dvorak one.

No apologies necessary ! I have tickets for the Russian programs , and a Mahler 1 on 11/2 . The Dvorak 8 is a favorite of mine as is Vienna .

Gerry , When you have a chance, The HR Sinfonieorchester ( Frankfurt Radio Symphony ) has an extensive presence on YouTube. One of the finest ensembles I have ever listened to . They play with incredible finesse and are a positive thrill . A selection here https://youtu.be/V8kLmFvYso4

Oddly enough Steven, I have listened to them. Usually with Orozco-Estrada. Great stuff.
