summer trip to europe

Hi,

Our family of 4 is planning a trip to europe this summer, switzerland one week and are thinking of dividing about 7 days between Vienna and Prague. Is this doable or is it better to stick to one country for one week each. I am not sure what restrictions we will have at that time.

TIA

No one else is sure about what the restrictions will be at that time, so you are not alone. But apart from that, why not? It is certainly possible. But, a week for Vienna and Prague will be a bit too rushed in my opinion. Is it possible to extend your trip a bit?

That's definitely doable! Three full day in each city will give you enough time to see the essential sites.
If these destinations are new to your family, I think it is worth the effort of switching cities and hotels.

I agree with rebekah, but the key will be connecting the points. Check and make sure you can do it effectively and to your satisfaction. My guess is each move will take you 5 to 7 hours door to door.

Yes, it's doable, but a lot of travel time. I suggest picking either Prague or Vienna and planning day trips as both cities have amazing options to easily fill up a week.
