How have people liked these and where is a good recommended one. I’ll be in Vienna and Salzburg.

We went to the strudel show at Schonbrunn Palace. It wasn’t hands on but my husband is a chef and loves making strudel and he picked up quick a few pointers to improve his technique.

Any other recommendations on cooking classes in Salzburg?

The RS tour, Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, participates in a cooking class at Edelweiss Cooking School in Salzburg. I have done this twice. It is amazing that such a large, diverse group can turn out such yummy baked goods in so short a time. In addition to its website, Edelweiss has an extensive Facebook page with recipes. The class makes apple strudel which is then consumed for desert after a lunch of gulasch. We did not make the gulasch. It was also very good. One woman in our group was gluten free and made herself a Salzburger Nockerl. And, one of the cooking assistants is a music student who may provide an impromptu Mozart song.
Edelweiss is within easy walking distance of the city center.
