Literally, I had forgotten how much was going on on Vienna's streets. Besides the main traffic lanes, there are access lanes for cars to get to hotels, there are greenways, there are pedestrian paths, there are bike paths, and of course the tram. Bicyclists are experienced but blase, they know where they're going (quickly) and they assume you do too. And trams can be surprisingly quiet when they sneak up on you, always keep your head on a swivel and assume you're in the way of something or somebody.
