I just booked three nights at Hotel Elefant in Salzburg. I realized we will be there over St. Rupert’s Festival. I would love to check it out but we are not going for this event. How congested does this area get during the festival? I picked the old town because most of the sights are here but wondered if staying across the river in Neustadt would be better.
