I noticed in the souvenir shops in Austria many items like shopping bags that said No kangaroos in Austria! I thought I knew what they meant but confirmed this with a salesman - when people come back from vacation and say they've been in Austria, the first thing they are asked is Did you see any kangaroos?

This reminds me of when I was a kid, at a family party. My cousin said he'd just returned from Hawaii, and a friend of the family asked, "Did you visit any of the islands while you were there?".
Nope, stayed completely on the mainland.
