I'm in the planning stage for a trip next September to Austria, Czech Republic, and Germany. After our stay in Salzburg we want to go to Prague next. After looking at some options it looks like a shuttle service might be the way to go. Has anyone used these services and if you have what are your experiences and recommendations? Also it looks like some stop in Cesky Krumlov for a few hours would that be enough time to enjoy the town. Thanks

We used CK Shuttle to travel Vienna>CK and then CK>Prague (two nights in CK) Prompt, timely pickup and delivery direct to our hotel, comfortable ride, reasonable price. Would use them again.

We also used CK shuttle a few years ago and it was flawless. Late model van, immaculately clean, on time, ultra courteous young driver refused to let us touch our luggage when he came to the door of our hotel to fetch us. Our ride from CK to Linz had just 4 of us in the van so quite comfortable.

If you only have a few hours in CK, you can stroll all around the town, but probably not go into the castle or little museums. It is one of those towns that's quieter at night, after day-trippers have left, and worth an overnight stay, if you have time.
