Four of us are traveling from Prague to Cesky Krumlov to Vienna to Budapest. Plan to use one of the shuttles mentioned for travel between Prague to Vienna. Is there a shuttle available from Vienna to Budapest?
CK Shuttle will get you from Prague to CK then from CK to Vienna. But not from Vienna to Budapest.

We took the train from Vienna to Budapest - about 2 hours- if you purchase tickets online in advance it was something like 22 Euros.
Look for "SparSchiene" tix on OBB website.
I don't remember any shuttles from Vienna to Budapest. I also just took the train, it's fast easy and cheap - which is probably why there aren't a lot of shuttles.
I plan to take the train Budapest -> Vienna. Tickets 29 euro each for direct RailJet. Per Rick's Budapest book, Orangeways bus is 10-17 euros per person.
VIENNA to Budapest tickets cost 19 Euro, not 29 Euro.
I took the train from Vienna to Budapest, it's 3 hours and very comfortable and convenient--easy trip to the Hauptbahnhof on the Ubahn or by taxi, then a 10 minute taxi ride from Keleti to most Budapest hotels on the Pest side. You can take the metro as well.
Per Emily 's correct comment -- tickets CAN cost €19 IF you book them far enough ahead. €29 is what I actually paid because I waited too long. (2 months before travel date.) Be warned!
Thanks for the feedback! I checked the Rail Europe website and the rate for 1-way Vienna to Budapest is $60, so prices must have gone up. It only allows you to book at most 90 days in advance.
That's because you are still booking through a third party. You need to book through the Austrian rail company for decent discounts. And get nothing better than 2nd class as for a 2.5 hour trip there isn't any significant difference between 1st and 2nd.
Don't use Rail Europe, use the Austria national rail site: https://www.oebb.at/en/
Thank you all for the comments!
