Seefled in tirol - winter horse carriage route

Which of the options for a horse carriage in winter is best with a kid?

I want a scenic view prefer with trees and forest and maybe a stop for a cake or something but it is second priority:

  1. Sights in Seefeld and exploring the lake promenade with 2 horses.

Duration: approx. 60 min.

  1. Let's go to the Waldgasthaus Triendlsäge, where Annemarie and Arno conjure up the best regional delicacies.

Duration: approx. 120 min. (1 hour stay included)

  1. Around the Wildsee Seefeld to the Englhof, where Fini serves finest pies and cakes on the sunny terrace.

Duration: approx. 120 min.

(1 hour stay included)

  1. Through forest and meadows to the "cool" Bodenalm, where chickens, pigs and countless cows spend their annual summer vacation.

Duration: approx. 150 min.

(1 hour stay included)

  1. Drive to the quaint Wildmoosalm, where the legendary apple strudel and best Alm products make your stay unforgettable. Duration: approx. 120 min. (1 hour stay included)

  2. Let's go on a relaxed tour with our horses through Seefeld and our

beautiful forests.

(without a stop)

Duration: approx. 90 min.

  1. In the midst of the Olympiaregion we ride to the idyllic Lottensee-hut, where Sonja's and Martin's best Tyrolean specialities are waiting for you to taste

Sitting in the Wildmoosalm. Nostalgic interior. About a 3k walk from the center of Seefeld. Once off the main road is forest. Icy today walking up the hill. Starting 21 December the shuttle bus runs.

I was in Seefeld in October it is a beautiful town. I walked around the lake as the trees were changing color and I did see a number of the horse carriages. I cannot tell you about a winter route but Seefeld is a great stop.

I stayed 2 nights in Seefeld at the Muncher StraBe. It is an excellent hotel with a free spa, wonderful breakfast and great location. When I was there in mid October it was 148 euro per night and they gave me an amazing room with a balcony. Now I know this was off season and it may be more expensive during ski time but it was one of the best values for me in Europe when I was there a few months ago.

I have stayed very happily several times at das Hotel Eden in Seefeld in Tirol. Enjoyed it every time, very much. Their half board includes a very good dinner. Just don't go there when the World Cup is in town, especially if your town has the Russian team's practice field.

An excellent hotel. I will admit never having been there in winter.
