Hello!
The RS guide says the Sisi pass is the way to be able to enter the palace without a timed entry, but the palace website ticket listing states you need to pick a time. Has anyone been lately that knows if this is a new change? Is there still a pass or ticket type to choose to not have a timed entry? Thank you!
Hello,
I purchased a Sisi Pass in March and I did not have to book a time slot, but you will have to choose a date and time if you are booking now on that same website. I used the link in Rick Steve's Pocket Vienna Guidebook to order my ticket, (www.schoenbrunn.at ). I just emailed [email protected] to clarify whether or not my pass will still work without a time or date.
Sorry this isn't more helpful. I will let you know what their reply is once I hear back from them.
Ruth
Thank you, Ruth. I have emailed them to ask about sounds like you are finding the same change/update.
We just visited Schonbrunn about a week ago. We bought our tickets ahead of time on the official website and picked 10 am to enter because we didn't want to deal with potential long lines. Everything I read recommended choosing time slots. We bought the Palace ticket here... https://www.imperialtickets.com/schloss-schoenbrunn
