We will be in Vienna on May 9th & 10th which are a Saturday and Sunday. Do we need to buy tickets to the Schönbrunn Palace online, or will we be okay with just buying them there? I am not sure what crowds are like in early May, but it is a weekend.

We went to Schonbrunn in mid May last year. Although it was a weekday, we arrived around maybe 9:30 a.m., and did not have to wait at all to buy our tickets. We did the self-guided tour, but I don't recall there being a wait for any of the organized tours. I think you'd be fine just buying them there.
