Schonbrunn Palace Question

My mom and I will be visiting Schonbrunn August 1 with plan to use the Vienna Pass to get in. I was just wondering... Should I still reserve an entry time with this? Is that even possibe? I know the Vienna Pass gives a "fast pass" for some of the attractions in Vienna but I couldn't find a clear answer on if Schonbrunn is one of those places on the Pass website or in the Rick Steves book. We're hoping to get there by 8ish since the place opens at 830.

I see the Schönbrunn Zoo on the Fast Track page, but not Schönbrunn Palace itself.

This page tells you how to get your ticket at the gate but does not offer a suggestion for reserving in advance online:

Their "Top Tip" is:
Please note that Schönbrunn Palace is one of Vienna’s most popular attractions and can be crowded, especially during the main season and on holidays. We recommend you get your free ticket for the Grand Tour at the visitor centre (to the left of the main gate) in the morning (from 8am). Your ticket will have an exact admission time at which you can start exploring the palace.

I did not see an option on the Schönbrunn Palace site for a reservation with Vienna Pass; I only saw reservations for paid tickets and combo passes:

Once you get your free ticket (with Vienna Pass) you can wander the free area of the gardens and grounds until your tour time.

I've been to Schonbrunn twice. Each time, I had the combo ticket with the Hofburg. I went to the Hofburg first so I arrived Schonbrunn with a ticket. I don't believe the ticket was timed and we just skipped past all the people in the ticket line. Now it's been two years since I went there so things could have changed.
