schoenbrunn palace and concert

Has anyone taken this combination of the palace tour and evening concert? Is there enough time to see the palace? Or should I do the concert at all? Thanks sue

I’ve never done it, but surely there are better concerts at the Musikverein or the Staatsoper.

Yes, I did both on a Viking river trip. We only had one full day in Vienna and then left the next morning. We spent the morning on the included tour, afternoon at the palace, and the evening was the concert. The palace was wonderful and definitely worth the trip. If I had to do it over again, I would eliminate the concert, even though we did enjoyed it, so that we could have more time in Vienna that evening.

The concert was very crowded (Totally packed) and didn't really last too long...(time spent getting there, waiting to start and getting seated, and then returning to the ship). I would have preferred to wander around the beautiful city of Vienna in the evening.

I found the interior of the palace to be overpriced, overcrowded, and underwhelming. The exterior setting and grounds/gardens are beautiful - which are free except for a small part of the garden.
