I am looking to purchase bus tickets to Hellbrunn from my hotel in "Old Salzburg". I can see the bus route with no problem; however when I go to purchase the tickets on the website there are several options for zones and it appears to be very confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are a group of 4 with one senior. Thanks!

Please just buy your bus ticket from the bus stop. There is no need to buy in advance.
Or, do what we do and take an Uber or a taxi, especially with a group of 4. It will not be much difference in price.

Some years ago we purchased the Salzburg Card and used it extensively. We left early one morning to visit the included Untersberg cable car, and visited Hellbrun on the way back into town. Bus transportation was included along with many other interesting sights and activities. Actually we arranged pretty much our entire visit around that card. We loved our time in beautiful Salzburg and hope you do too. Safe travels.
