In late May, we plan on taking a day trip to Kaprun for a half day and then go to either Schatterberg X-press or Gipfelweit 3000 afterwards.
If you've been to either of these, which would you recommend? Was either more picturesque than the other? We won't have time for both.

I have been to neither, but am planning a trip to this area of Austria for next fall, so your post led me to read more about these two sites.
