Schafbergbahn cog wheel railroad

Hi,

We are planning on taking the ferry from St.Gilgen and riding the cogwheel train up Schafberg, but are there in early October and the site currently says "From 30 September until 3 November 2019 the SchafbergBahn will only run as far as the Schafbergalm (due to construction work). " Any ideas whether the alpine meadow at Schafbergalm is still a worthwhile trip?

Hi Douglas -

We used this railway some years ago now and it turned out to be quite eventful! Not sure how up to date my info is, but in case it isn’t - and because it was eventful! - I’ve PM’d you.
