Schafberg Advent Ride - Time at the Top

Hi All,
We will be doing a day trip in December from Salzburg and plan to visit St Gilgen, St. Wolfgang and Strobl, along with the Schafberg train ride. We plan to book the ticket in advance and wanted to understand how much time should we plan for at the top? As per the time-table, it appears the train stops for 20 mins before going back down.
https://www.5schaetze.at/content/dam/tourism/downloads/fahrpl%C3%A4ne/2024/en_2024/sbb_2024/2024_Fahrplan_SchafbergBahn_Advent_EN.pdf

Since it might be cold in December, we do not want to spend any more time than usually required at the top. Should we take the same train back or the next one?

Thanks,
SKM

Note that the Schafberg Railway will go to Schafbergalm (altitude 4470 ft) only, but not to the top, i.e. Schafbergspitze (altitude 5680 ft), during advent and winter time.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we did realise that the advent ride is only upto Schafbergalm.
Wanted to know how much time will be enough at the top? Take the same train back in 20 mins or the next one after 90 mins?

I really don't know. I guess it would be best to decide it when you are there. If the weather is bad (snow, temperature, wind) I would not like to stay there very long. But the best viewpoint seems to be a bit away from the train station, so you will need some to get there and back again. Thanks for the reply. Appreciate the detailed information.
We are booking the same train back down considering it might be cold and also keeping some time for visiting other places in the same day.

I'll share here what I shared in our messages -

We got right back on the train as the snow was knee deep up there and everything was outside and so very cold. Only a small stand selling drinks outside. It was a beautiful ride up and down.
