It is our first trip to the area. We plan on visiting the first two weeks of June 2020.
We have 12 days and we will be renting a car.
How many days would you spend in each of these cities:
Salzburg/Vienna/Munich
There will be myself, my husband and 18 year old daughter.

You already have 2 threads on almost the identical topic with multiple replies. You really didn't need to start a 3rd.
You should visit these three places in a geographical order to avoid going back and forth, i.e. Munich/Salzburg/Vienna or Vienna/Salzburg/Munich, given that you have an open-jaw flight.
There are high drop-off fees for cars rented between two different countries.

Unfortunately, an open jaw flight was too expensive so we will be flying in/out of Munich and double backing will be necessary.

You should be aware that June 1 and June 11 are public holidays. Shops will be closed and attractions will be busier than normal. Restaurants and museums will be open as usual. Transportation will operate on a holiday schedule. Many families will be traveling during this time, so it is best to book your accommodations as soon as possible.
