Salzburg to Prague

You need to go through Vienna to change trains. No direct connection from Salzburg. Take the train Salzburg to Wien Hbf, then change to Praha hl n.

There are are couple of single connection trains through Linz every day, but not until September. August is the time of year for track rebuilding, so looks like replacement buses are running now for that places on that route.

The bus connection between Salzburg and Prague is faster than any train alternative:

Bus is how I did it the last time I made the trip. We had to change busses once and I almost missed the connection, but other than that it was a good trip.
