Can you share hotel suggestions for Salzburg. We are three adults, visiting mid-Sept.
Our requirements :
- clean, reasonably priced, 3 star hotel
- breakfast included
- central location .. or close to public transport .. so we can walk to most places.

Last December, three of us stayed at Alstadthotel Weisse Taube and absolutely loved it. Our room had 3 beds, and all were comfy. There was plenty of space and a nice large bathroom. Breakfast was no included, and we did not see it included in any of the other places we looked at, but you could pay separately for it. The location was wonderful as it was walkable to everything. I would absolutely stay there again, FWIW.
I stayed at Hotel Hohenstaufen near the train station. Clean, family owned, nice people and breakfast. Room slightly dated which wasn’t an issue for us. Modern, spotless bathroom. I stayed with my daughters in a 3 or 4 person room.

We loved our recent 2 night pleasant stay at Wolf Diederich! Lovely area and easy walk over river to Aldstadt. Wonderful staff!
I recently stayed in the same place as mikliz97 (Altstadthotel Weisse Taube) and also can absolutely recommend (we were also 3 adults). The location was great and it was comfortable and charming and very reasonable compared to other Salzburg options within easy walking to the center.
I did not have breakfast included, which seemed pricy. Instead we walked around the corner to the Cafe Glockenspiel for breakfast twice.
It does not have air conditioning but except for one afternoon (arrival day in July) we did not need it. Nights with the large windows open were very comfortable. We were on the 5th floor - the elevator went up to 4, then we had 1 flight of stairs. Plenty of space.

It's in a great location and easy to walk across the bridge to the old town and the Hohensalzburg Fortress. The hotel is a bit basic, but very clean and comfortable. On one occasion they served Champagne with the included breakfast.
