Mature female traveling solo to Salzburg early June - last stop of 2 1/2 week trip. Wondering if anyone has a moderate to better moderate price Hotel in good location w/ charm they would suggest in Salzburg. A 3 night stay. -- Easy Location please. And is AC needed 1 of June?
- Lived in Europe in the 70s and loved it - not modern hotel person.

I don’t know about summer prices, but I’ve stayed at the Weisse Taube (white dove) and Hotel Elefant. Both are in excellent locations, especially the Hotel Elefant . Salzburg is gorgeous! Have a great time!

It was more modern than charming, but we liked the Hotel Hofwirt. Great breakfast! Clean place, convenient location and a lovely outdoor courtyard.

We have stayed at both Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu and Altstadt Hotel Hofwirt. The Imlauer has a popular restaurant with dining both indoors and a lovely garden setting. Both locations worked for us.

Radisson blu Altstadt.
Great hotel all rooms a little different old world charm with up to date amenities. With wonderful staff.
Right in old town.

Thank you all - appreciate the suggestions. Was able to book a room at Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu - looks lovely and good location. A few hotels were already sold out at this late date. And decided to avoid the crowds in the old town except when sightseeing
