Hi,
We have one open Salzburg evening on our Munich, Salzburg ,Vienna, RS tour, September 27.
We would like to go to a concert either at the Mirabell Palace or best of Mozart at the fortress. RS recommends Mirabell. We will be ending our Fräulein Maria bike tour probably around 6 so we’re not looking for dinner at the concert.
Is the view from the fortress ( which we won’t otherwise visit) and funicular ride worth the offset that the fortress concert may be of somewhat lower quality?

In June I went to the Hohensalzburg Fortress Dinner and Concert. The trout dinner was excellent. The string quartet was very good but the pianist was fantastic.
As for just touring the fortress, the view was worth it but the exhibits weren’t anything special.
