Salzburg- Christiana Schneweiss Private Tour

Hi- has anyone used her for a private tour in Salzburg? Rick Steves raves about her in the guidebook and she seems reputable. My only concern is she doesn't take credit cards and wants me to wire the money to her bank. Has anyone else wired her the money with success? I find a lot of info online about her, and all is positive. I also doubt she would risk losing Rick's endorsement, but you never know. Can't afford to lose any money with this big trip coming up!

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Bank transfers are how the majority of business is done in Austria. I wouldn't worry.

I wasn't aware that advance payment was common practice, but I think you do have to consider it a nonrefundable commitment. You have to show up. The possibility of her not showing up is remote, and our office would certainly follow up with her if that happened.

Thank you Laura and Emily. I transferred the funds so hopefully all goes well. Everything I found online about her was positive so I am sure it will be fine. Thanks again for taking the time to reply!
