Salzburg area suggestions for 25th wedding anniversary trip

My wife and I are in our 50s, not the hiking/biking type. :) We are looking for advice/recommendations for our 10-day (ish) trip in the first half of July (first time to Austria). We will fly to Munich, train to Salzburg. After that we are still trying to figure out our itinerary. I'm thinking a few destinations where we stay a couple of nights each... St. Wolfgang vs. St. Gilgen vs Fuschlsee, Gmunden, Hallstat, Millstat, etc. Debating on whether to rent a car locally for the entire trip, or just for the interior days.

Important: We are looking for relaxing towns, not crazy hustle/bustle. Our lives are busy and noisy, we need a BREAK! :) Renting a boat, checking out local cuisine and drinks, observing beauty, etc. There are so many beautiful towns near Salzburg I'm trying to whittle the list down a bit.

Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide!

We stayed at Hotel Cortisen am See, an adults only relaxing hotel at the edge of St. Wolfgang. This boutique hotel has some spa options, also. We liked to hike during the mornings and relaxed with our waterfront balcony afterwards. They have small boats and there’s other options since you don’t want to hike.

Be sure to take the boat to arrive at St. Wolfgang from St. Gilgen if you’re not renting a car. Beautiful boat ride!

Definitely see a concert at Mirabelle Palace while in Salzburg and do the Salt Mine tour in Hallstatt! We just got back from the GAS tour plus Prague and it was fantastic!
