My family and I, two adults and two teenagers are hoping to visit Salzburg in Spring 2019. Can anyone suggest a place to stay directly on a city bus route with supermarkets and restaurants close by as my daughter has walking difficulties. Thanks

Family rooms are very rare. You’ll only have a few hotels to choose from with this option - unless you are willing to take two rooms. Might be worth looking at AirBnBs as well.

Hotel Hohenstauffen near the train station has very nice family rooms. it is a more modest property with great staff and a wonderful breakfast. I would contact their helpful staff and ask about transportation http://hohenstauffen.hotels-salzburg.org/en/
