LITTLE APPETITE OR HUNGRY AS A BEAR? If your stomach is growling at
noon or in the evening, the »Alte Fuchs« is exactly the right place to
go. Here, with fresh, regional ingredients and a lot of passion, the
food is "tasty"! For the weekly menu, the "Old Fox" always comes up
with new, seasonal delicacies - loosely based on grandma's recipes.
The popular classics of Austrian cuisine are available à la carte:
Wiener schnitzel, clever types of dumplings, crispy pork knuckles,
sausages, spare ribs, Kasnocken, delicious soups and salads right
through to Kaiserschmarrn and many other delicacies.

...dinner based on historical recipes, listening to a concert with
musicians in authentic costumes and the music of Wolfgang Amadeus
Mozart.

The venue of the Mozart Dinner Concert is the Baroque Hall up on the
first floor of the restaurant St. Peter Stiftskulinarium, located in
the heart of the old town of Salzburg, right beside the church of St.
Peter.

For a nice meal outside of the city, check out the Reiterhof Moos. It's easily accessible on bus 21, about 15 minutes from downtown. Good food, especially the garlic soup, and a great ambience.
