Hi--
I am starting the planning for a June trip. I've found lots of varying and conflicting advice about travel from CZ to AU.
Is there not-too-long route to get from Cesky-Krumlov to Vienna via train? And I am assuming (based on research and travel experience) there is a high speed train from Vienna to Prague?
I've found various blogs and books and sites, and need to hear from one site's experts. :)

Last time I rode the train from Vienna to Prague, it was in a slow train--2 1/2 hrs. There was a soccer team in our train car--and one guy napping with his head on my shoulder.
To get from C-K to Vienna, you could take a bus or shuttle bus down to Linz, Austria where you could catch a train into Vienna.
Here's another option- We are doing the reverse and plan on taking the CK Shuttle from Vienna>>Cesky Krumlov>>Prague. The shared shuttle was recommended by friends & Forum contributors. We chose this for convenience, and less time than the train.

The Regio Jet bus was a recommendation as well for the Prague to CK. Any experience there?
