The ringstrasse tour on trams 1 and 2 are closed until May 22. Somewhat of a language barrier but I was unable to take the tour as guides using "broken English" said the trams wouldn't operate until May 22. Went to "food festival" as recommended by Emily at Vienna's Stadtpark. Was very nice. Beautiful, beautiful park. Am here for 1 week. What a beautiful city!!!!!

Until May 22nd:
Because of track repairs no trams are operated along Ringstraße between Schwarzenbergplatz and Börse. The remainder sections of the Ring (including Franz-Josefs-Kai) are serviced by the rerouted lines 1, 2, and D. The touristic tram line ("Vienna Ring Tram") has been cancelled for this time period.
Enjoy the walk along the Ring, visit the parks (Burggarten, Volksgarten).

The Belvedere is free this Sunday (very rare event) and the Wiener Symphoniker will be giving a free concert (exceptionally rare) in the MQ courtyard tomorrow evening.
