Restaurant recommendation please

Hi
Attending Vivaldi concert at Karlskirche on Saturday 9/5 at 8:15 pm
Friend and I are looking for a recommendation of a nearby restaurant.
Prefer reservation and if so, what time?
Not five stars but nice.
Open to different cuisines.
Thank you!

For Austrian, I would recommend Café Schwarzenberg, a classic cafe two blocks away. This is the oldest coffeehouse on the Ring. Also for Austrian, I will send you a message with the name of my favorite place, which is nearby.

Our family really likes In-Dish for contemporary Indian - also nearby. We go here for birthdays and farewells.

As for time, I assume you want to eat before the concert as after will be too late? I would reserve for 5:30-6:00.

In case you don't know, Vivaldi was buried in a mass grave just in front of Karlskirche. There is a plaque on the TU Wien building, just on the square, that marks this spot.

(In this place the famous "Mnozil Brass" orchestra was founded, hence its name.)

(The website is in German, but the menu has English translations.)

(This one serves Italian cuisine, i.e., real Italian cuisine, not American-Italian cuisine which is perceived as Italian in US.)

My personal favorite: https://www.gmoakeller.at/en/
(Reservation is necessary.)

Cindyzens- Def take Emily up on any advice she has! She helped us immensely last Christmas with things to see and do and stays. We are thinking we may go back again this year.

Vienna University of Technology was later built over the former
paupers' graveyard.

Walked by there many times. Did not know this. How do you say, "Professor, a ghost stole my homework" in German?
