Hello, I am planning a trip to Italy/Austria/Switzerland utilizing trains to get from town to town. I am finding the car rentals in Innsbruck (as well as other towns) are at the airport not the train stations. Does anyone have ideas on how to easily access the car rental stations? Are there car rental stations in the center of town? All I can think of is taking a taxi from the train station to the airport, but that will eat up a lot of time.

Using Google Maps for Insbruck it appears that there is a Hertz location a few blocks from the train station. All other locations are at the airport.

Innsbruck is quite small. The train station is less than 4 miles from the airport. Trams and buses travel between the two in 15 minutes. Taxis take 5-10 minutes.
