I will be spending 4 days in Vienna before going onto a RC trip in France and wondered where to stay that is somewhat close to Krummgasse area? I do not need luxury but safety, comfort and cost are important .

Take a look at this Magdas Hotel , located a block from where you want to be . Safety is a non-issue in Vienna. I live a few blocks over from Krummgasse. I can recommend from personal experience the Austria Trend Savoyen hotel, which is where my parents always stay when visiting me.
